 VERY clean - nice wrap & decent chrome. Only detractor would really be the dents on rim edges (mostly top) that could be rolled back out. Don't know what the cardboard near the snare wires is for??!?

I would advise AGAINST purchasing this item with the intent of having a 'drum tech' put it back together for you - too costly and this really doesn't require any advanced skills other than common sense and ability to use a drum key. Gretsch Bigsby B-6C (V-cutout) in excellent used condition. Came off a 1969 Chet Atkins Nashville 6120. No screws included. This stands out as a legitimate vintage tailpiece, the modern Bigsby V-cut has string mounting poles that do not go through the bar, only the vintage models have the mounting poles extending through the bar (and can be removed and replaced with a hexagonal key). Will ship worldwide.

Vintage 1962 Gretsch Guitar 6003 Grand Concert/Jimmy Rogers/Folk Flattop Guitar

 

Here’s your opportunity to buy a little bit of history
and nostalgia!  This guitar is in "Very" good condition for her age; I was the 2nd
owner and purchased it in 1973; so I've owned it for 39 years.  It has
Schaller Tuning Keys (made in Germany)
that were changed out in the late 1960’s by the previous owner.  This guitar has excellent sound and stays in perfect
tune for months at a time…which is great! 
Especially if you’re considering buying this guitar for a beginner.

At one time, I had an electric pick-up on this guitar,
so it has a tiny hole for the electrical…see the photos.  I had the pick-up added at the music store, so the hole was made by a professional.  This hasn’t changed the integrity of the
guitar.  It has NO cracks and only a few
scratches and dings.  I’ve taken really
good photos, but if you’d like to see more photos…please use the contact and
send me your email address.

I’ve included a couple of vintage guitar straps and
pick.  The guitar case shows it’s age,
but it’s “very” sturdy and all of the latches work perfect and the handle is like
new.  The inside of the case is beautiful!

Just a little info: 

   As a guitar, it was a
Martin copy with a solid spruce top, mahogany back & sides with a rosewood
fretboard & bridge.

 

   Probably the single
most distinguishing characteristic of the 6003 is the sheer number of names the
same guitar was given. Among the various names given the flattop: Jimmie
Rodgers, Grand Concert ,     Jimmie Rodgers Folk Singing, Folk Singer

Whatever it was called, the 6003 was a mainstay of the
Gretsch line for years and quietly sold quite a few copies. From roughly 1959
to 1963 the 6003 was known as the Jimmie Rodgers or the Jimmie Rodgers Folk
Singer model. It was listed in the '63 catalog as the 'Folk Singing'.

The most recent Vintage Guitar Price guide I could find puts this guitar at a
value of $600-900 depending upon the condition.  I do plan on going into Barnes and Noble and looking at the 2012 price guide...if it's increased, I may decide to ask more than what I currently am asking.

Gretsch 60s Vintage 14"x20" Bass Drum

The original green wrap looks great. It really pops! Glossy! Seams have lifted. Looks like it wouldn't take much to glue them back down. There's a piece torn off the bottom, near one of the spurs. Not very noticable when the drum is set up. The hoop inlays are darker.

6 Ply Shell.

Shell is in round. Heads fit on without any issues.

The batter side bearing edge is very good. The resonant side has some dings in it, see last pic.

Two extra holes in the muffler area. Looks like there was a Gretsch tom muffler installed at some point.

No wing screw in the cymbal arm bracket.

Buy it now for a quick sale.
